Overview of Role

We are looking to recruit a proactive Business Administration Apprentice to join the Land Agency team at our office in Bury St Edmunds. This role does not require any previous experience as all training will be provided and the successful candidate will be supported in achieving their Level 3 qualification in Business Administration. This is a great opportunity to join a multi-disciplined Firm with the opportunity to learn and develop whilst working with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, formatting and proofreading letters and reports
  • Handling incoming phone calls and email enquiries
  • Supporting the Bury St Edmunds office with general administrative tasks, including maintaining office supplies and preparing meeting rooms for client visits
  • Assisting with the organisation of both paper and digital filing systems
  • Providing administrative support with invoices and expense claims
  • Learn to use and maintain accurate records on the Firm's internal systems

Requirements

  • Maths and English GCSE minimum grade 4 (or predicted grades then later verified).
  • No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone with basic IT skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team. The successful candidate will be organised, willing to learn, able to follow instructions, and have a positive, proactive attitude.

This is a permanent full-time position based on 37.5 hours (Monday – Friday).
