About the role
Brookfield Aviation International is the world’s largest flight-crew leasing company. Established since 1993, we are based in Epsom, with branch remote working employees in Vietnam, Colombia, India, Mauritius, Poland, Finland and Spain. We presently have several hundred pilots and engineers on our contracts with our client airlines, all around the world.
The team here in our head office deals with sales/marketing and administration, and the successful candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:-
- Assistance in the promotion of our business to airlines around the world, via mail shots, email, telephone and general distribution of marketing material.
- Point of contact to answer contractors’ queries about payments, application status, holidays etc.
- Contact with pilots by phone and email to inform them about flying opportunities with our clients, describing the contract terms etc.
- General administrative support work: Helping the admin team here.
- Helping us where possible with in-house computer issues.
- Bring some new and youthful ideas into the company.
We do not require a level of work experience, although some commercial awareness would be useful. - Ability to write a grammatically correct business letter.
- Enthusiasm: Genuine willingness to work hard and learn quickly.
- Good level of computer literacy.
- Live within half an hour commuting distance from Epsom High Street (Our office is 3 minutes’ walk from the station).
Knowledge of any foreign languages (though not essential) would be an advantage.
We will provide the necessary training, after which we would expect the incumbent to be competent enough to represent our company in some client meetings as may be required. It is hoped that this will be the beginning of a long and rewarding career with Brookfield Aviation.
Hours of work will be 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday with one hour lunch break. It may be necessary occasionally to be on duty outside those hours according to the needs of the business.
