You'll assess, support and empower individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, creating tailored interventions that help them achieve meaningful outcomes. Main duties of the job No two days are the same in this varied role.

Youll work across a wide range of settings including service users homes, educational environments, workplaces, GP surgeries, the Isle of Man Prison and other Manx Care venues.

Managing your own caseload, youll provide one-to-one support, deliver therapeutic groups and work alongside a multidisciplinary team to help people overcome barriers, build confidence and live more independently. Complex cases will challenge and develop your clinical reasoning, helping you build valuable specialist skills and expertise.

A workplace that invests in you Be promoted to Band 6 within 2 years. The Band 5 Annex T posts are development posts where you will undergo a period of preceptorship with the aim of gaining the competencies required to fulfil a Band 6 position.

During this period, you will be assessed and if you meet the competencies there will be an increase in your salary as you progress up to Band 6. A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role.

Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month.

Qualifications

Essential BSc or equivalent in Occupational Therapy. Current Registration with HCPC.
