Contract Supervisor – Security Services

SSGC is looking for an experienced and motivated Contract Supervisor to join our Operations Team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Security Team Leader, Mobile Supervisor or junior Operations Supervisor who is ready to take the next step into multi-site contract management.

You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational delivery of an allocated portfolio of security contracts, working closely with our security officers, clients and Operations Manager to ensure consistently high standards of service.

This is a field-based role with regular travel, and you will be required to visit every allocated client site at least once each calendar month.

Responsible for visiting the security team at allocated locations across London, the South East, South Coast, South West and South Wales

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the day-to-day management of allocated security contracts.
• Visiting every allocated client site at least once per calendar month.
• Meeting clients and maintaining positive professional relationships.
• Conducting security officer welfare and performance reviews.
• Completing site inspections and formal Site Visit Reports.
• Monitoring officer standards, uniform, SIA licences and compliance.
• Ensuring Assignment Instructions and operational procedures are being followed.
• Supporting staffing, rotas and shift-cover requirements.
• Working with Recruitment and Operations to address vacancies.
• Monitoring attendance, punctuality and officer performance.
• Responding to operational incidents, complaints and client concerns.
• Supporting investigations and employee-performance matters.
• Monitoring improvement actions and ensuring they are completed.
• Supporting contract mobilisations and operational changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Producing accurate operational and client reports.
• Supporting the Operations Manager with the overall performance of allocated contracts.About You

We are looking for someone who is confident dealing with both clients and security officers and who can manage multiple priorities across a geographically dispersed portfolio.

Essential Requirements

• Valid SIA Front Line Licence.
• Previous supervisory experience within the security industry.
• Experience supervising or supporting security officers.
• Strong client and customer-service skills.
• Good understanding of security operations.
• Confident dealing with operational and staffing issues.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good written communication and report-writing ability.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Competent IT skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Access to a suitable vehicle for business use.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• Flexibility to occasionally work evenings, nights or weekends when operationally required.Desirable Experience

We are looking for a confident, professional and commercially aware security supervisor who can balance customer service, people management and operational delivery. You will need to be comfortable travelling between sites, making localised operational decisions and working independently while maintaining strong communication with the Operations Manager and wider support teams.
