We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Administrator to join our specialist Lifetime Service, supporting children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. This is more than an administration role. It's an opportunity to be at the heart of a service that changes lives every day.
As our Senior Administrator, you will lead a dedicated administration team that plays a vital role in ensuring our nursing, psychology and continuing care services run smoothly and effectively.
Working closely with our Lifetime Leadership Team, you'll help shape and improve the way our service operates, supporting colleagues to deliver outstanding care whilst ensuring families receive the responsive, efficient support they deserve. Main duties of the job In this key leadership role, you will: Lead, supervise and support a skilled Administration Team. Oversee Continuing Care staffing rotas, ensuring safe and effective service provision. Manage staff records, annual leave, sickness and training information using electronic rostering systems.
Coordinate diaries, clinics, meetings and service schedules across multiple teams. Support recruitment processes, onboarding and induction planning for new team members. Manage the ordering and coordination of equipment and resources required to support children and families.
Produce reports, maintain accurate records and contribute to audits and service improvement projects. Develop and improve administrative systems and processes to maximise efficiency. Build positive relationships with families, carers, clinicians and partner organisations.
Promote a positive team culture, supporting wellbeing, development and performance.

About You We're looking for someone who: Has experience leading, supervising or line managing a team. Thrives in a busy and ever-changing environment. Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills. Enjoys problem-solving and finding practical solutions. Is confident using a range of IT systems, including spreadsheets, databases and electronic rostering systems.
Can manage competing priorities while maintaining excellent customer service. Is compassionate, resilient and committed to supporting children, families and colleagues.
Experience within healthcare, social care or a service-focused environment would be advantageous, but we welcome applications from candidates with strong leadership and administration experience from a variety of sectors.
About the Lifetime Service The Lifetime Service is Sirona's specialist Community Children's Nursing and Psychology Service, supporting children and young people aged 0-18 with complex health needs and their families across the BNSSG area.
The service includes a Continuing Care Team providing essential care and support within homes and communities. Please see the attached Job Description for a full list of duties and responsibilities before applying for this position.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Training Essential GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent in Maths and English NVQ level 2 in Business Administration or other relevant qualification or equivalent experience. Desirable Evidence of undertaking personal/professional development. Willingness to undertake training required for the role.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Essential Experience of diary management and organising meetings/clinics/events Experience of using a range of IT skills including electronic communication, text processing, spread sheets and data bases The ability to manage range of administrative processes including typing, minute taking, data management/analysis.
Experience of line managing a team Able to collate and produce data/information tailored to the audience. Able to handle private, complex and confidential information in-line with general data protection regulations and company policies and procedures.
