Equans is looking for a Mechanical Technician to join our team in Edmonton, London. This is a full time role with participation in an on call rota for one week per month. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- Complete planned preventative maintenance on HVAC, boilers, water systems and building services equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, clear blockages and respond to emergency breakdowns
- Undertake Authorised Person and Competent Person duties in line with safe systems of work
- Maintain healthcare systems safely while supporting compliance, teamwork and service continuity

Who are you?
- Experienced as a Mechanical Technician or in a similar role
- Skilled in maintaining and repairing HVAC, plumbing, boilers and mechanical building services
- Experienced in Authorised Person and Competent Person duties
- Knowledgeable in health and safety, risk assessments and method statements
- Able to fault find, solve problems and work accurately under pressure
- Comfortable working independently and with colleagues, contractors and healthcare staff
- Relevant City and Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is desirable
- Healthcare or critical infrastructure experience is desirable
- Physically able to work at height, in confined spaces and demanding environments
- Willing to participate in the on call rota and attend relevant training
