The job in a nutshell

This role is responsible for executing and optimising Berry Bros. & Rudd's established Customer Proposition and Personalisation plan following MVP launch, delivering against agreed KPIs and business objectives across Creatio, Front and Klaviyo (US). Working across business and technology teams, you will ensure an established roadmap is successfully executed, delivering high-quality customer experiences, driving adoption across the business, and realising measurable customer and commercial outcomes.

Success in this role will come from maintaining the momentum, stakeholder engagement, pace and quality standards established to date, whilst ensuring teams remain focused on delivering value against agreed priorities.

Transformation Office incl Product Owners, Customer Experience, Account Management, Marketing, Digital, Analytics and Insights, Buying and Commercial, Technology and Delivery Teams, Customer Service.

External:

Software development and implementation partners.

What you will do

  • Own the successful delivery of the Customer Proposition and Personalisation roadmap, ensuring agreed customer, colleague and commercial outcomes are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Maintain delivery momentum across multiple workstreams, proactively managing dependencies, risks, issues and decisions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing and Technology.
  • Ensure roadmap priorities remain aligned to agreed business objectives and customer outcomes.
  • Work closely with technology and delivery teams to translate roadmap priorities into clear delivery plans, actionable backlogs and successful releases.
  • Lead backlog management, prioritisation and sprint planning activities, balancing customer value, business priorities and technical considerations.
  • Ensure robust solution design, testing and release processes are followed to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Track, manage and communicate progress against milestones, risks, benefits and key programme deliverables.
  • Support business readiness, training and adoption activities to ensure new capabilities are successfully embedded across the organisation.
  • Create and maintain epics, user stories and acceptance criteria required to deliver roadmap initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external delivery partners to ensure solutions are delivered effectively and meet agreed requirements.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance customer experiences, colleague effectiveness and business performance.
  • Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment and effective decision-making throughout delivery.What you will bring to the role
  • A highly organised, execution-focused mindset with a proven track record of delivering complex business and technology change.
  • Strong delivery leadership skills, with the ability to drive momentum, manage competing priorities and achieve results in fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging senior business leaders, technical teams and external partners.
  • Experience working in Product Owner, Product Manager, Delivery Lead or similar roles within Agile environments.
  • Strong backlog management and prioritisation experience, translating business objectives into successful delivery outcomes.
  • Significant experience of customer experience, CRM, loyalty, personalisation or customer engagement platforms.
  • A good understanding of software delivery lifecycles, solution design, testing and quality assurance practices.
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers and delivery partners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity whilst maintaining delivery momentum.
  • Experience using customer insight, data and analytics to inform decisions and measure success.
  • Experience within Wines, Spirits, Luxury Retail or Hospitality would be advantageous but is not essential.Qualifications
  • Degree level (Computer Science, IT, Finance and Accounting, Business Administration preferred)
  • Preferred Certified Scrum Product Owner qualification.
