About the role
Do you understand the importance of work and the vital role it can play in the lives of those with health conditions or disabilities?
Do you have lived experience of facing significant barriers to accessing and retaining work?
Are you happy to talk with individuals currently struggling with finding and/or retaining work, sharing your journey and supporting them in their journey towards employment?
You will support clients who are facing barriers to work by using your lived experience to help support them on their journey to employment. You will provide emotional and practical support to clients in the community at an appropriate time of intervention. The role is designed to help clients progress on their individual journeys and access local activities to support with their personal growth and skillset.
