About the role
Theatre Severn are recruiting Casual Front of House Security Stewards. We are looking for people who are friendly, approachable, good with customers, have good communication skills and can work well in a team.
Theatre Severn is a busy and vibrant performance venue with a wide range of events throughout the year. The security team are primarily responsible for bag checks, monitoring alcohol consumption and assisting the team dealing with any anti-social behaviour.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing Front of House Team at Theatre Severn as a Casual SIA Security Steward. You will need a valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) license. You will be responsible for the security of patrons, staff and visitors at Theatre Severn.
You will undertake Front of House security, concierge and stewarding duties and provide first aid care for staff and patrons of Theatre Severn. You will act as a key holder and duty manager for specific building opening times and provide a high standard of customer service, assisting with the creation of an exciting, welcoming, and friendly environment for theatre patrons. The role entails predominantly evenings and weekend work.
Ideal candidates will have their SIA Licence and experience of working in a similar venue, have a customer focused approach with sound understanding of teamwork and good communication skills.
The successful candidates will have a flexible approach to hours which must include evening and weekend work, bank holiday work with some daytime work too. Shifts are allocated on a rota basis.
