C&W Transport is building a peak season team at our Exeter depot and recruiting nationally to do it. Distance from the depot is not a barrier. If you are willing to be based in the South West from October to December, we want to hear from you.

A fixed period engagement running October to December 2026. High volume route work through the busiest trading period of the year, then it concludes.

£110 per week van rental, the cheapest on the market

No deposit, no upfront cost, all inclusive, for the full engagement. You do not need to bring your own van.

Pay and vehicle options

Your own van: £185 to £205 per route (approximately 9 hours), including £1.80 daily phone usage compensation. Joining bonus of £600.*

Rent one of ours: £185 to £200 per route depending on van type, including £1.80 daily phone usage compensation. Joining bonus of £400.* Rental at £110 per week, all inclusive.

VAT registered? VAT is paid on top.

Weekly performance bonus

Hit your delivery metrics and earn more on top of your route rate: 3 routes +£15, 4 routes +£25, 5 routes +£30, 6 routes +£40.

How and when you are paid

Weekly, two weeks in arrears. Your first payment arrives roughly three weeks after your first route. We would rather tell you that now than have it surprise you later.

Free tank of fuel, every week

Every week of the engagement, our highest performing driver at Exeter gets a full tank on us. Awarded on delivery performance, so it is open to anyone from their first week.

Eligibility

• Driving licence held for more than 12 months
• Right to work in the UK
• Pass a basic DBS check
• Able to be based within reach of our Exeter depot for the engagement

To rent a van, you will also need no more than 6 points on your licence and no bans or endorsements in the last 5 years.

This is a self-employed contractor opportunity for a fixed period. You will invoice C&W Transport for the routes you complete.
