Brief description of the service, role and responsibilities:

Totally Local Company Ltd are currently looking to recruit 2 Horticulture/Grounds Maintenance Apprentices to be based in Stockport. You will join a skilled and experienced gardening team and will receive on the job training in Grounds Maintenance duties plus sweeping, litter picking and the use of manual tools to complete weeding and pruning.

You will also receive full training in regard to any grounds machinery, and grass cutting equipment that is appropriate. Further training opportunities including Spraying qualifications and Health & Safety qualifications will be provided by Myerscough College within the workplace.

Your working week will be 37 hours per week (season hours are a requirement of the job), days and times to be confirmed. The wage is the national minimum wage subject to your age.

The process will include an assessment for Maths and English this and the training will be provided in the workplace by Myerscough College towards the Intermediate Apprenticeship in Horticulture.
