Are you a part-qualified accountant looking to develop your financial reporting and analysis experience within a purpose-driven organisation?

We're looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Group Financial Control team on a 12 month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to gain exposure to financial reporting, statutory accounts, audit support and month-end processes while building on their professional qualifications.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll support the delivery of accurate financial information, maintain strong financial controls, and provide insightful analysis that helps inform decision-making across the business.

What you’ll do

  • Support the production of accurate and timely monthly financial reporting and assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Preparing and posting journals, including accruals, prepayments and provisions.
  • Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts for Group subsidiaries.
  • Assisting with audit requests and helping to ensure queries are resolved promptly.
  • Completing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining appropriate financial controls.
  • Producing reports and analysis to explain key financial movements and variances.
  • Supporting statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Responding to finance queries and providing support to stakeholders across the business.

What you’ll need

You're a part qualified accountant, working towards completing your professional studies. You’re analytical and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working with data and building strong relationships with colleagues across the business. You’re a strong communicator, able to explain financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences. You also have:

  • Advanced Excel skills and strong Microsoft Office capability.
  • Experience in working within a finance or accounting environment and supporting month-end and/or year-end processes.
  • Experience preparing journals, reconciliations and financial reports.
  • Experience supporting audit processes or preparing information for auditors.

This is a fixed-term contract opportunity for 12 months .

This is a hybrid role with requirement to work two days per week from our London Head Office (Westminster Bridge Road).
