Quantity & Contract Management Surveyor
£37,280 - £39,862 per annum (pay award pending) | Permanent | Hybrid Working
Are you an experienced Surveyor looking for an opportunity to make a real difference? Homes in Somerset is seeking a Quantity & Contract Management Surveyor to support the delivery of planned investment and major works programmes across our housing portfolio. You'll play a key role in managing contracts, controlling costs and ensuring high-quality improvements to customers' homes.
What you'll do
- Manage planned works and investment contracts.
- Undertake valuations, variation assessments and budget monitoring.
- Check contractor payment applications and invoices.
- Monitor contractor performance, quality and compliance.
- Provide technical advice on asset investment projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and within budget.
What we're looking for
Experience in quantity surveying, contract management, building surveying or planned works.
Strong commercial and cost control skills.
Knowledge of contracts, building standards and construction compliance.
Experience managing contractors and project delivery.
Social housing experience desirable.
MCIOB or RICS qualification desirable.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
