Location: Watford, Hertfordshire Job Type: Agency / Temporary Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour PAYE Shift Pattern: Flexible agency shifts

We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to work agency shifts at a well-established care home in Watford .

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Healthcare Assistants looking for flexible agency work , with regular shifts available to fit around your existing commitments.

The Role

As an Agency Healthcare Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents with their day-to-day care and wellbeing, while promoting dignity, independence and choice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents
• Supporting residents with personal care, washing, dressing and continence needs
• Assisting with mobility and repositioning where required
• Supporting residents with meals and hydration
• Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting any concerns to senior staff
• Building positive relationships with residents and their families
• Maintaining accurate care records
• Working as part of a wider nursing and care team
• Following all relevant care plans, policies and procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant or Support Worker
• Experience within a care home, nursing home or similar healthcare setting is desirable
• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable and flexible approach to agency work
• Right to work in the UK
