About the role
- Human Resource and Payroll Administrator - 8 months Fixed Term
- Full-time: 40hrs a week
- Location: Head Office near Tottenham Court Rd Station, Central London
Flying Tiger Copenhagen is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR and Payroll Administrator to join our team.
The HR and Payroll Administrator provides an efficient, effective and customer-focused HR service which supports all aspects of an employee’s lifecycle.
This includes administrative support in payroll, recruitment, onboarding, employment queries, maintaining employee records, coordination of training activities, and project work.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Payroll
- Manage and process the company’s monthly payroll using ADP system
- Obtain and verify data from various departments in order to prepare and process payroll on a monthly basis
- Process starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime, deductions, unpaid leave and other payroll adjustments.
- Calculate and process holiday pay, statutory sick pay, maternity/paternity pay and other statutory payments
- Process pension contributions and ensure accurate pension records are maintained.
- Dealing with any payroll queries
- Maintain appropriate payroll records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal procedures.
HR Administration
- Maintain the HR Systems and processes to comply with legislation
- Ensure business compliance with latest legislation e.g. right to work documents
- Set up new starters on time & attendance system
- Send new starters welcome pack
- Set up new users on e-learning platform
- Keep company personnel records up to date
- Be the first point of call for providing any people administration, e.g. employment confirmation, reference requests.
- Manage the HR Inbox, respond accordingly or forward queries to the relevant persons.
- Support the HR team with reporting on People KPI’s
Recruitment
- Support stores by posting vacancies on the recruitment platform
- Guide hiring managers on the correct onboarding & right to work processes
- Support and coach line managers on recruitment best practices
- Complete general recruitment administration
HR System Support
- Maintain and validate information in the HR system
- Support Managers with the HR system
Preparation of Reports and Documentation
- Support tracking of absence and probation periods is used effectively, and coach managers through any performance issues.
- Issue and track training documentation
Core Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Organised and able to manage different tasks and deadlines.
- A sound understanding of the principles of good HR practice
- Confident handling confidential information
- Comfortable working independently while also being part of a team
- Being proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Fluent in English verbally and written
