Job Overview
The Partnerships and Events Fundraising Executive will support the delivery of the Lake District Calvert Trust's income generation strategy by managing and growing income from corporate partnerships and events.
This is a varied and outward-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating engaging fundraising experiences and working collaboratively to achieve income targets.
The successful candidate will build strong relationships with a range of external stakeholders, businesses and individual supporters, delivering engaging fundraising opportunities that generate sustainable income and raise awareness of the charity's work.

Accountabilities
- Deliver the corporate fundraising plan aligned with the charity's wider income generation strategy.
- Identify, research and secure new corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships with local and regional businesses.
- Develop tailored partnership proposals that meet both corporate objectives and the charity's funding priorities.
- Manage and steward existing corporate partners, ensuring excellent supporter care and long-term engagement
- Develop and deliver an annual programme of fundraising events and challenge activities.
- Manage participation in third-party events such as marathons, walks, cycling events and adventure challenges.
- Develop and support our fundraising volunteering programme, ensuring a positive and rewarding volunteer experience
Experience
- Proven experience working in fundraising, partnerships, business development or account management- typically 4 years.
- Proven experience of developing successful corporate partnerships or sponsorships.
- Experience delivering fundraising events or other fundraising initiatives.
- Experience managing external relationships and delivering excellent customer or supporter experiences.
- Proven track record working towards financial or income targets.

- Ability to travel independently to meetings, events and other locations as required by the role, including locations not readily accessible by public transport.

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
