What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities) as an Asset Manager:
- Managing and monitoring a portfolio of residential property assets
- Overseeing planned maintenance, repairs and major works programmes
- Managing contractor relationships and monitoring standards of work
- Reviewing service charge budgets, expenditure and financial performance
- Maintaining strong relationships with freeholders, leaseholders and management companies
- Carrying out regular property inspections and identifying opportunities to improve asset performance
What our client is looking for (Skills & Experience):
- Previous experience in residential property, asset management or estate management
- Strong understanding of residential property management and maintenance
- Good financial awareness with experience of budgets and expenditure
- Knowledge of service charges and leasehold property would be advantageous
- Strong contractor and supplier management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Professional, proactive and confident approach to problem solving
