What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

• Designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases across functional and non-functional areas
• Performing manual testing across web, mobile and API environments
• Supporting test automation efforts, potentially writing or maintaining automated test scripts
• Identifying, documenting and tracking defects with clear reproduction steps and severity assessment
• Collaborating with developers, product managers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve quality issues
• Contributing to test coverage analysis and recommending areas for improved validation
• Participating in quality assurance reviews and continuous improvement of testing processes
• Reporting test results, metrics and quality status to the delivery team

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 2–4 years' experience in QA, testing or quality assurance, including hands-on manual and/or automated testing
• Proficiency in designing and executing test cases, test plans and test scenarios
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools
• Solid knowledge of at least one test automation framework or scripting language (for example Selenium, Cucumber, Python or Java)
• Clear communication skills and ability to document findings with precision
• Attention to detail and analytical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams
• Right to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have qualifications could include experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines, API testing, or agile testing practices.
