What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

  • Designing and developing SAP applications and integrations using APIs, microservices and cloud-native architectures
  • Supporting SAP S/4HANA, ECC and RISE system implementations and upgrades
  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployment of SAP solutions
  • Working with distributed systems, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and orchestration platforms
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts and QA specialists
  • Contributing to code quality and system resilience through adherence to ISO 9001 standards
  • Supporting data pipeline development and data quality initiatives
  • Troubleshooting and optimizing system performance and integration workflows

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

Must-have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven application development experience with SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, RISE or similar)
  • Strong proficiency in at least one of the following: .NET / ASP.NET, Java / Spring Boot, or Python
  • Working knowledge of APIs, microservices and modern integration patterns
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts
  • Understanding of distributed systems and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Ability to work effectively in a contract environment with defined project scope and timelines

Nice-to-have

  • SAP Certified Professional or equivalent SAP certification
  • Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of BPMN, UML or other system design methodologies
  • Exposure to data pipeline tools, ETL processes or Power BI
  • Linux or Windows system administration fundamentals
  • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
