About the opportunity
This is a contract opportunity to register your interest in future Platform Specialist roles within our infrastructure and cloud engineering teams. Roles of this type may involve designing, building and maintaining scalable platform solutions that enable development teams to deploy, monitor and operate applications reliably. You could work with modern cloud infrastructure, containerisation technologies and CI/CD pipelines to support distributed systems and microservices-based architectures.

What you would do
Typical responsibilities could include:
- Designing and implementing cloud platform solutions using Azure, AWS or GCP
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Working with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Supporting development teams in adopting microservices architectures and APIs
- Managing infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform
- Collaborating with teams to improve system reliability, scalability and performance
- Contributing to platform documentation and best practices
- Supporting the deployment and configuration of distributed systems
What you could bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
Must-have
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Working knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
- Understanding of microservices and distributed systems
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code or configuration management
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Nice-to-have
- Experience with .NET, Java or Python development ecosystems
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging and observability tools
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration
- Experience with SQL databases and data pipelines
- Exposure to SAP environments or enterprise systems
- Scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell)
