About the role
The Role
We are looking for a Grants Manager to join the Law Society to lead the delivery and development of our grant funding activity. Working across the full grant lifecycle, you will oversee funding programmes from screening, application and assessment through to monitoring, reporting and evaluation. You will ensure grants are administered effectively, in line with agreed governance arrangements, organisational policies and strategic objectives.
The role also involves stakeholder management with funded organisations and internal stakeholders, supporting decision-making groups and committees, monitoring performance and risk, and ensuring accurate reporting on outcomes and impact. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of grant management processes, evaluation frameworks and reporting approaches, helping to maximise the value and effectiveness of our funding activities.

What we're looking for
We are seeking an organised and proactive professional with experience of managing grants, funding programmes or similar portfolios. You will have strong project management skills and be confident coordinating multiple activities and priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
You will be comfortable analysing information, assessing risks and producing clear reports and recommendations for a range of audiences. Experience of working within governance frameworks, carrying out due diligence activities and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations will be highly beneficial.
The successful candidate will be an excellent relationship builder, capable of working effectively with internal colleagues, external organisations, committees and senior stakeholders. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to influence, collaborate and provide guidance where required. The role is based in London at 113 Chancery Lane. The team currently works hybrid under a team charter where we come in the office at least two days per week.
