About the opportunity

This is an opportunity to register your interest in Data Business Analyst roles, positions that could support organisations in translating complex data requirements into actionable insights and scalable solutions. What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

  • Gathering and documenting data requirements from business and technical stakeholders
  • Analysing data pipelines and quality frameworks to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Liaising between data engineering, analytics and business teams to ensure requirements alignment
  • Producing technical documentation including data flow diagrams, requirements specifications and process models using tools such as BPMN and UML
  • Supporting the definition and implementation of data quality standards and governance
  • Collaborating with architects and engineers on distributed systems, microservices and integration patterns
  • Contributing to discussions around cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code approaches

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

  • Experience in data requirements gathering and analysis within enterprise environments
  • Understanding of data pipelines, data quality assessment and stakeholder engagement practices
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and familiarity with at least one modern platform such as Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques, including BPMN and UML diagramming
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences

Nice-to-have experience includes:

  • Exposure to microservices architectures, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) or CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java or .NET
  • Experience with analytics and visualisation tools such as Power BI
