Accounts Apprentice at Southern Communications Group in Hemel Hempstead
About the role
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £20,000 – £25,000
We are looking for an Accounts Apprentice to join the Accounts team based at our Hemel Hempstead office, you will be providing transactional support to the finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Ledger Reconciliations between Pulse & Business Central
- Intercompany journals & reconciliations Hardware journals & reconciliations
- Collating & posting accruals
- Collating & posting prepayments
- Fixed asset management
- Daily Bank reconciliations including allocation of cash receipts
- Support with annual audit process
- Any other ad hoc task requests to support the management accountant & financial controller
Skills Required:
- Positive can-do attitude
- Strong written & oral communication skills, both written & verbal
- Attention to detail
- IT Literate
- Strong organisational skills
- Studying or plan to study AAT/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
- Team player
