- £17.79 per hour overtime (after 39 hours)
We are recruiting Food Production Operatives to join a leading manufacturing in Cropwell Bishop. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established employer offering excellent overtime opportunities and a supportive working environment.

- High Care & Low Care Wedge Production
- Monday to Friday
- 06:00 - 15:00 (Fixed Morning Shift)
- 14:00 - 22:00 (Fixed Afternoon Shift)
✅ No rotating shifts
Duties Include:
- Packing and labelling cheese products
- Quality checking finished goods
- Rubbing and handling cheese products
- Working on production lines within High Care and Low Care areas
- Heavy lifting and manual handling duties
- Lifting and moving cheese blocks weighing up to 8kg
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Potting Line Operative
Monday to Thursday
- 06:00 - 16:00
- ️ Flexibility is required on Fridays during busy periods leading up to Christmas.
Duties Include:
- Filling pots with cheese
- Pressing cheese into the pots
- Wiping pots and applying wax to the top of the product
- Working within High Care production areas
- Carefully packing finished pots into trays and boxes
- Packing and labelling products
- Quality checking finished goods
- Following food hygiene and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
What We're Looking For
- ✔ Previous food production experience is desirable but not essential
- ✔ Reliable and hardworking attitude
- ✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ✔ Good attention to detail
- ✔ Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
- ✔ Comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment with a strong cheese aroma
