About the role
We’re looking for a Finance Systems Lead to join our Financial Service Centre team. With the launch of our new strategy, there’s never been a more exciting time to join us.

What it's like to work here
Our Finance Service Centre (FSC) is responsible for the provision of all financial transaction processing services for properties, regions, countries and other departments across the Trust.

However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
What you'll be doing
You’ll lead the development of our core finance system, Unit4 ERP, working closely with the Finance Systems Manager to deliver the systems roadmap and support systems administrators.
You’ll design and build solutions, working closely with key stakeholders to make their requirements a reality. This includes documenting requirements, creating solution designs, and handing over fully documented solutions to the systems administration team.
You'll provide expert guidance, best practice advice and third-line support to the systems admin team, while collaborating with technical consultants and supporting projects that integrate with Unit4 ERP. You'll stay up to date with developments in finance systems, identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes across the organisation.
You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached. You don't need to have all of the knowledge, skills and experience listed in the role profile; this is just to provide a full picture of what’s possible in this role.
