About Our Client
Our client is a market leader in their industry and looking to add a Finance Manager to their team in a newly created role.
This is a hybrid position in Nottingham and is payng up to £50,000.
Our client is looking for a Finance Manager who can work closely with the Finance Director and support the finance team. This is a hands on position in the finance team in Nottingham.
The successful Finance Manager will have a split role between Business Partnering and Management Accounts.
Job Description
- Preparation of Management Accounts
- Month and year end closing processes
- Support with reporting requirements
- Reconciliations
- Oversee transactional ledgers
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- Producing P and L
- Assisting Finance Director with budgets and forecasts
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with operational teams to drive performance and profitability.
- Prepare and present financial reports and budgets to stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance against targets.
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities to inform business planning.
- Support the development and implementation of financial strategies.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in forecasting and investment appraisals to support business growth.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Business Partner should have:
- A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or be Qualified by Experience
- Experience in a hands on Finance Manager position / Management Accountant role
- Experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the industrial and manufacturing sector.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
