We are looking for enthusiastic Arts and Crafts Volunteers to help provide meaningful companionship, creativity, and support at two of our Extra Care services in the London Borough of Brent. Volunteering with Creative Support is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of people with support needs while working alongside our team to deliver truly person‑centred care.
We are seeking individuals who are creative, patient, warm, and approachable, with a genuine interest in supporting others. You don’t need to be a professional artist, but you should enjoy arts and crafts, be enthusiastic about sharing ideas, and be able to encourage participation in a relaxed and inclusive environment. If you can spare a couple of hours and are able to volunteer on a regular basis, we’d love to hear from you.
Activities might include painting, drawing and colouring activities; card-making and seasonal crafts; textile-based projects such as knitting and sewing; decorative and creative crafts; workshops linked to cultural events, celebrations and holidays; collaborative art projects and displays; and supporting residents to explore new creative hobbies and interests. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy and you can offer a few hours on a regular basis, we’d love to hear from you!
This role is for two of our extra care services for older people in the London Borough of Brent.
