Lecturer in Business Studies (26.25 hours per week)

In this role, you will be working 4 days per week ( 26.25 hours ) within our Sixth Form department, based at our Loxton Campus.

Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at our Loxton Campus in Weston-super-Mare.

As a Lecturer in Business Studies, you will be responsible for the delivery of A Level Business.

You will:

• Provide high quality teaching, assessment and internal moderation.
• Tutor students, showing sensitivity to their needs and encouraging the highest possible standards.
• Meet targets with reference to student progress on programme, for their attendance and retention.
• Provide advice and guidance to students in their progression to either employment or other courses within the College.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A degree-level qualification in a relevant subject.
• Teaching experience and knowledge of current teaching strategies.
• Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills.

You will also need to either hold a teaching qualification, or be willing to gain this whilst in post (with the support of Weston College)
