About Our Team
The Responsive Repairs team carry out a wide range of responsive repairs in our customer’s homes. Providing a 24/7 service. Repairs are completed to a high standard meeting regulatory requirements, and in line with Health & Safety procedures.
The teams consists of joiners, plumber, plasterers and a building team who collaborate to ensure delivery a quality service with high levels of customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For
We believe in recruiting for potential as well as experience. Our ideal candidate will have:
Essential:
- Strong communication skills
- City & Guilds or NVQ2 or equivalent in relevant trade – plastering
- Full Driving Licence
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment to provide high levels of customer care
- Experience of working in the building trade/industry
- General knowledge of Health & Safety in the work place and safe working practices
- General knowledge of Health & Safety in the work place and safe working practices.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team without supervision.
- Ability to plan and prioritise own workload
- Ability to carry out multi-skilling in other trades in line with Calico’s criteria
Desirable:
- Experience of working in Social Housing
- Experience of working in a property maintenance environment
- Experience of using PDA device and IT systems
