EDI Functional Support Analyst at Sysco International in England

Job Description

As a Functional Support Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the successful implementation and optimisation of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions for Sysco France customers and suppliers. Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, you will develop a thorough understanding of customer and supplier objectives and recommend the most appropriate EDI and data API solutions to meet their business needs.

This role is offering hybrid working with 3 days per week in the Dieppe, France office, and as such a good degree of self-motivation and flexibility is required.

You will act as the primary point of contact throughout the implementation lifecycle, managing EDI onboarding projects in line with Sysco France's standard implementation approach. This includes coordinating activities across customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring all actions are tracked and delivered on schedule, and escalating risks or issues where necessary. Your focus will be on delivering successful outcomes that create value for both customers and Sysco France, while driving efficiencies and reducing the overall cost to serve.

A key aspect of the role will be translating technical EDI capabilities into clear business benefits. You will be expected to confidently explain Sysco France's EDI and data integration solutions, helping customers and suppliers understand how these capabilities can streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen long-term partnerships. Through effective stakeholder management and influence, you will support customers in selecting the solutions that best align with their objectives.

The role requires strong project management skills to oversee multiple implementations simultaneously, ensuring milestones are achieved, timelines are maintained, and anticipated benefits are realised. You will work closely with account managers, departmental leaders, and senior stakeholders to increase awareness and understanding of EDI across the business, while promoting best practice and continuous improvement.

In addition, you will contribute to the ongoing development of Sysco France's EDI capabilities by identifying opportunities to enhance implementation processes, monitoring industry developments, and recognising emerging trends within the food service and e-commerce sectors. You will be encouraged to continually expand your technical and business knowledge to remain at the forefront of EDI solutions and integration practices.

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally. You will possess a strong understanding of systems, processes, and their impact on business operations, coupled with the ability to influence decision-making and guide customers towards the most effective solutions. Strong project management expertise, attention to detail, and professional proficiency in English are essential.

Experience within an e-commerce environment, knowledge of SAP ERP systems, and familiarity with Sysco France's people, systems, and processes would be advantageous.
