ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a casual, part-time role offering flexible working. As a Bank Registered Nurse at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve.

We'll look to you to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with range of physical and mental needs, whilst also relying on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions.

ABOUT YOU

You'll need to have current NMC registration and a good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices to join us as a Registered Nurse (RGN).

Experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments is important too, as is an understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. The role requires creating a safe and supportive environment for residents with diverse physical and mental needs, and it involves making critical clinical decisions. The responsibilities include developing tailored care plans, providing medicine safely, and ensuring excellence in all tasks.

As a Registered Nurse (RGN), the individual has the autonomy to practice nursing in a way that is valued and respected. A current NMC registration and knowledge of up-to-date clinical practices are required to join, alongside experience in producing well-developed care plans and conducting detailed risk assessments.

Understanding of regulatory frameworks like DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines is also necessary. A person-centred, thoughtful approach to nursing is emphasized.

Qualifications

Essential Current NMC registration, knowledge of up-to-date clinical practices, experience in creating care plans, understanding of regulatory frameworks (DoLs/MCA, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines).
