Our homes ar Main duties of the job The role of a Bank Cook with Agincare is more than just cooking. As a Bank Cook, you will be working with the team to provide a high quality of life for those that need it at Hazlemere Lodge in High Wycombe.
You'll be responsible for menu planning in collaboration with the home manager and residents, and implementing menu ideas as well as meeting residents' specific nutritional and dietary needs. Responsibilities also include kitchen management, stock management, and maintaining hygiene standards.
Skills needed include a background in catering with an understanding of how to run a professional kitchen, and experience in a care home kitchen setting. Knowledge of the IDDSI framework for complex dietary requirements is desirable. This position is bank, so you work as and when required.
