Job summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Salaried GP, to join our established team here at Heald Green Health Centre for 6 sessions per week. Ideal for portfolio careers. We provide the full range of NHS General Medical Services to our registered patients, and our aim is to provide personalised, quality healthcare.
As a Salaried GP, you will be supported by, and work with, a diverse multi-skilled professional team of clinical and non-clinical friendly staff, providing high quality, person-centred, holistic clinical care to patients registered within the practice. This is a permanent role subject to ongoing capacity and access funding arrangements.
Main duties of the job As a Salaried GP you will be expected to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, and visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, doing triage, and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.
Your weekdays will include working Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Furthermore, you will be expected to undertake duty doctor sessions in proportion to your sessions at the practice.
About us
Heald Green Health Centre is a well-established practice with approximately 7000 patients. We have 2 GP partners, 5 salaried GPs, 1 ACP, 2 Practice Nurses and 2 HCA.
In addition, we have a large admin and reception team using their experience to provide workflow optimisation and efficiencies to release clinical time, all supported by an experienced forward thinking Practice Management team.

Qualifications
Essential Hold full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) on the General Practitioner Register MRCGP Be included on the NHS England medical performers list Professional standing - Not be prohibited from providing services due to regulation breaches (e.g., NHS Performers Lists Regulations).
Not be suspended from practice by the NHS or from the GMCs list of medical practitioners. Not be subject to any interim suspension orders from the GMC under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983.
