You'd be joining an amazing team of Healthcare Support Workers assisting the Nursing Workforce to provide high quality patient care.

Main duties of the job Role requirements:o Minimum NVQ Level 2 in health-related subject or Care Certificate issued by an employer *o GCSE English Level 9-2 (A - E) or equivalento Minimum of 12 months experience of working in a health care setting *The Care Certificate standards define the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in health and social care.

The standards were updated in March 2025 to align with sector developments and the introduction of the Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate qualification. There are now 16 standards which need to be competency assessed and signed off by an employer.

Eligible applicants will progress to stage 2 a formal interview on Monday 24 August .

This is a Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker post and is therefore not eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship under current UK immigration requirements. The Trust is therefore unable to sponsor applicants for this role.

Person Specification

QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING Essential English and Math GCSE grade 9-2 (A*-E) or equivalent Competence based level 2 Qualification e.g.

NVQ or Diploma in Care or The Care Certificate issued by an employer KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE Essential Previous employment with a healthcare setting (18 months) Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
