Job summary
To provide a strong and comprehensive administration and clerical support to the Neurodevelopmental Pathway. The role will entail dealing with queries from patients and their families, schools, social workers and other external agencies.

As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive. An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
This leads to a nationally recognised qualification. Whether you already work for us or are joining the Trust and NHS for the first time, apprenticeships can help you to develop the skills, knowledge and know-how in order to embark on a successful and fulfilling career within the health service.
Main duties of the job The ideal candidate will be confident in the use of Microsoft Office packages, Outlook, Word and Excel. Have proven background/experience of working within a busy administration based environment.
Be able to answer telephone queries, handle referral documents for uploading into our clinical patient record system , assist with printing, filing, typing, format letters plus other administration duties as part of their role.
They must be able to communicate courteously and effectively as they will be the point of contact for schools and parents within the team. Workload varies across the year, so the post requires someone who is able to work well under pressure and who can prioritise different streams of work to meet the changing demands on the service.
There will be an expectation to work across all localities as and when required to support service delivery.
