Are you driven, motivated with an eye for detail and a high performer in the field of used cars?

We are currently recruiting a Used Car Manager to join the Management team to spearhead it’s used car operations in our Slough dealership representing SKODA, CUPRA, SEAT & Non – Franchise vehicles.

As the Used Car Manager you will be required, through a strategic and hands on approach, to work alongside the sales management team, managing the used car sales environment, our team of Sales Executives and the process to maximise the profit opportunity and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

As the Used Car Manager your key responsibilities will be:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the used car department. Alongside our group buyers, assisting with sourcing and managing stock levels, pricing and vehicle preparation and display.
• We have two Site Co-ordinators and additional local storage facilities to assist us in our sales ambitions which you would oversee and are key to our used car success.
• Lead, motivate, and coach sales executives to achieve sales targets and ensure high levels of quality in vehicle appraisal and customer satisfaction.
• Report on department performance, key metrics, and stock management to senior management.
• Ensure all vehicles meet quality and safety standards before sale through our state-of-the-art preparation and vehicle imagery hubs in line with company policies and legal requirements.
• Ensure all sales are compliant with Group sales processes and regulatory standards
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability within the used car team including lead management and in house purchases through service departments
• Drive performance in our brand partner’s scorecards, fully implementing process to achieve the very highest results.

The successful candidate for our Used Car Manager position will ideally possess the following skills and experience:

• Strong background in used car sales management
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets

Pay: £45,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
