About the role
Priory Farm Estate is offering an ideal opportunity to hone customer service skills within a busy retail environment.
Full training will be available for the candidate who is able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Please note that all shop floor roles are fairly manual and involve being on your feet, lifting and carrying.
Key responsibilities:
- Exceed customer expectations by providing a friendly, knowledgeable service.
- Create eye-catching displays, keeping shelves well stocked.
- Organise the fridge, cold stores and stock room.
- Serve customers and operate the till.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work space.
- Support a safe working environment (H&S, Food Hygiene and company policies).
Hours of Work
- Role 1: 3 days including Saturday
- Role 2: 3 week days
- Hours for both roles: 08.00 - 17.30
- Immediate start
- Overtime when available
- All shifts include a 30-minute unpaid break for lunch.
- Closed Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, 27th December and New Year’s Day
Pay rates
Our pay rates vary depending on age:
- Ages 16–17: £8.18 per hour
- Ages 18–20: £10.99 per hour
- Ages 21 and over: £12.84 per hour
