We are looking to recruit an inspiring clinical leader who is warm, confident and authentic to join our team. This role is situated within the Professional and Practice Development Team with a portfolio that includes, but is not limited to, Patient Experience, Whistleblowing and Education.

We would like to welcome a nurse or a midwife into the team who is aspirational with a desire to innovate. The purpose of this role is to work collaboratively across the organisation to enhance the quality of care and experience that every person has during their healthcare journey. Your work will be underpinned by a person-centred, rights-based and trauma-informed approach.

The job description is currently under review to ensure it reflects the organisation’s future direction and emerging priorities. While responsibilities will adapt over time, the current portfolio includes:

Patient Experience – leading person‑centred responses to complaints that influence improvements and compassionate high quality and responsive care

Whistleblowing – support organisational culture through oversight of timely, objective, impartial and fair responses to concerns raised

Professional & Practice Development – supporting the development, capability and culture of our Nursing and Midwifery workforce

You must be a degree educated nurse or midwife on the Nursing and Midwifery Council register; and be able to demonstrate a commitment to professional development through post registration learning and education. You should have master’s level education or equivalent evidenced through continuing professional development. You’ll bring strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in quality improvement, governance and leading complex change.
