School Crossing Patrol Officer

• Hours: 15 hours per week, 7:45am to 9:15am and 3:00pm to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
• Salary: £8,824.61 per annum inclusive of holiday pay (£31,200 FTE)
• Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only (35 weeks per year)

St George’s Weybridge is seeking a reliable and conscientious School Crossing Patrol Officer to provide a safe crossing point for pupils, parents, staff and other pedestrians on Thames Street during the school day.

This important role involves assisting pedestrians to cross safely, promoting good road-safety behaviour and acting as a visible and reassuring presence outside the School. The successful candidate will be confident communicating with children and adults, able to remain alert in a busy road environment and willing to work outdoors throughout the year in all weather conditions.

Full training will be provided, including Surrey County Council School Crossing Patrol training prior to operating independently.
