Are you an Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready for your next challenge? We're looking for an ambitious Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Services Team. This is an excellent development opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing quantity surveying experience, gain greater commercial responsibility and continue their professional development within a supportive environment. You'll also have the opportunity to support and mentor Assistant Quantity Surveyors as they develop their careers.

What you’ll be doing

Working alongside experienced commercial professionals, you'll support the delivery of quantity surveying, estimating and commercial management services across a range of housing maintenance and investment projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing estimates, valuations, cost plans and financial forecasts. 
• Supporting the commercial management of contracts and projects. 
• Monitoring costs and producing commercial performance reports. 
• Assisting with tendering, variations and final accounts. 
• Working closely with operational teams, contractors and stakeholders. 
• Identifying opportunities for efficiencies and value for money improvements. 
• Supporting and mentoring Assistant Quantity Surveyors. 

About you

Do you have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline?

Are you currently working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or in a similar commercial role?

Do you have experience producing estimates, valuations or cost reports? 

Are you looking to further develop your commercial and contractual knowledge?

Can you build effective working relationships and manage your own workload?

Experience within social housing would be beneficial, but we welcome applications from candidates across the wider construction sector
