Digital Development Officer

We're recruiting for a Digital Development Officer within the Digital Team. Working with low-code platforms such as Netcall's Liberty Create and Microsoft PowerApps, you'll develop and support digital solutions that improve customer experience, streamline processes and make services more efficient.

The post holder will be responsible for creating, developing and maintaining web applications built in-house using various coding disciplines and utilising the council’s low code application development platforms. This role involves collaborating with other members of the digital team to develop and improve the efficiency of applications.

We're looking for someone who has a passion for digital technology and service improvement, strong problem solving and communication skills and experience in digital, IT, application support or development environments.

This role offers hybrid working with an expectation that the successful candidate will travel when required but the organisation does utilise Microsoft Teams and Outlook for meetings and communication where appropriate.
