Area Care Operative 2

We have an exciting role on offer within our Environmental Services as an Area Care Operative 2.

Do you enjoy outdoor work? If so and you can demonstrate some practical knowledge of horticulture/gardening, cleansing and/or maintaining the outdoor environment.

A Full Driving Licence is essential for this role.

Though training may be available, experience or qualifications in the following areas are desirable.

Cleansing operations experience.

Use of ride on grass cutting machines.

Use of handheld machinery i.e, Pedestrian grass cutters,Pedestrian Street sweepers, Strimmer/Hedge Trimmer/Air Blower etc.

CPC driver qualified

PA1, PA6, PA6A & PA2, PA2A Chemical Application.

Experience with Fine Turf maintenance i.e., Bowling Greens.

Chainsaw use.

Needlestick trained.

Asbestos awareness.

First Aid at Work.

Manual Handling.

This vacancy is for 37 hours a week, Monday to Thursday - 7.00am to 3.00pm, Friday - 7.00am to 2.30pm.
