Bus Reform Technical Officer

As Bus Reform Technical Officer, you will lead key projects to modernise local bus services, strengthen partnerships with operators, and ensure Shropshire remains well placed to secure future Government investment. This is an exciting opportunity to influence transport policy, work on high-profile projects and make a real difference to public transport across the county. We are a supportive, collaborative team that values innovation, professional development and new ideas, offering the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful projects in a fast-moving and rewarding environment. 

We are looking for an organised and motivated professional with experience of delivering complex projects and working with a range of stakeholders. You will have strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to interpret policy and guidance, and experience of preparing reports or recommendations for decision-makers. 

Knowledge of public transport policy, Enhanced Partnerships or Bus Service Improvement Plans would be advantageous, although candidates from wider transport, infrastructure or public policy backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
