An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Adult Social Care Leadership Team as a Band 4 Administrator supporting the coordination and administration of Adults with Incapacity (AWI) processes across NHS Highland.

This is a key administrative role providing dedicated support to ensure the effective oversight, coordination and monitoring of AWI statutory activity. The postholder will work as part of a professional leadership function, contributing to service governance, compliance and assurance.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative and coordination support, including maintaining accurate client records, managing and developing tracking systems, and supporting statutory timescales and reporting requirements. The role requires effective liaison with a wide range of partner agencies including Health, Social Work, legal services and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy administrative environment, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including maintaining spreadsheets and supporting performance monitoring, is essential. The postholder will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-agency environment. Experience of working within Health and Social Care or knowledge of statutory processes such as Adults with Incapacity would be advantageous.
