Mental Health Social Worker - North East Shropshire

Mental Health social work is about relationship-based working and as a social worker there is real job satisfaction in seeing someone’s strengths develop through person centred assessment and planning. We strive to effect positive change in strength-based practice, working to a trauma informed approach.

We are a very supportive team, with regular supervision, peer reflective sessions, working alongside colleagues. 

You will have a team base to work from alongside the option of home working . Flexible working arrangements are encouraged for a healthy work life balance.

There are excellent opportunities for training as Shropshire Council enables you to work effectively.

You will have excellent knowledge around the legal frameworks with which we work and if not already with AMHP status a desire to develop to become an Approved Mental Health Practitioner.
