The City of London Corporation is looking for an Estate Services Coordinator to support the effective delivery of estate services across our housing estates. This is a key operational support role that will help ensure services are well organised, performance is monitored and residents benefit from safe, clean and well-maintained environments.

Working closely with the Estate Services Manager, you will monitor and support operational systems, including caretaking and inspection systems, and help colleagues use them consistently and accurately. You will produce regular performance reports, monitor inspection completion, assign and follow up actions, and escalate delays or concerns where necessary. You will also undertake research, data gathering and analysis to support service improvement and management reporting.

The role includes a range of administrative responsibilities, such as preparing and circulating printed and digital materials, ordering stock, raising and receipting purchase orders, and attending regular meetings. You will organise and prioritise your own workload, support colleagues to meet agreed deadlines and provide a reliable, responsive and customer-focused service.

You will need strong digital and ICT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Excel for reporting, spreadsheet management and data manipulation, together with proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems. You should have experience of maintaining accurate records, managing workloads and working within Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer care skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Knowledge of relevant estate services legislation and regulations, including health and safety, fire safety and COSHH, is also required. The post is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 16:00, with a 60-minute lunch break.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as part of the selection process the successful applicant will be required to obtain a Basic Disclosure & Barring Service check.

The City of London Corporation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
