Job DescriptionThe posts are 30 hours and the salary will be pro-rata to the number of hours worked.Queens Quay House is a modern 84-bed care home providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.
We are looking for caring, compassionate and motivated individuals to join our established team as Care Assistants.As a Care Assistant, you will work as part of a dedicated care team to ensure the delivery of person-centred care and support for our residents. The successful candidates should hold an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 6 or SVQ 2 Health and Social Care or be willing to undertake in post within 3 months.RequirementsThis post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.ResponsibilitiesThe employment for which you are applying is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975.
