- What you would do
Typical responsibilities could include:
- Designing and developing control system solutions using industry-standard tools and platforms
- Integrating APIs, microservices and distributed systems architecture into control system implementations
- Working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP to build scalable, reliable automation solutions
- Collaborating on CI/CD pipeline development to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability
- Contributing to system testing, validation and troubleshooting across development and production environments
- Supporting documentation and adherence to technical standards such as ISO 9001
- Working within Linux and Windows environments as required by project scope
- What you could bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience
- Solid technical foundation in control systems design and implementation
- Working knowledge of at least one of the following: .NET, ASP.NET, Java, Spring Boot or Python
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with version control, CI/CD practices and modern development workflows
- Understanding of data quality, SQL and basic data pipeline concepts
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail
Nice-to-have skills include experience with SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC or RISE), Power BI for monitoring and visualisation, Terraform for infrastructure, or knowledge of security frameworks such as CSDR and DMZ architecture.
