  • What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

  • Designing and developing electrical schematics, circuit designs and technical documentation
  • Collaborating with mechanical and controls engineers to integrate electrical systems into broader product designs
  • Conducting electrical calculations, simulations and analysis to ensure design integrity and compliance

Supporting the development of electrical designs that meet ISO 9001 quality standards and relevant regulatory requirements

  • Contributing to design reviews and providing technical input to improve design efficiency and manufacturability
  • Documenting design decisions, specifications and testing results clearly for project teams and stakeholders
  • Working with design tools and software to produce accurate technical drawings and models
  • What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Solid understanding of electrical design principles, circuit theory and component selection
  • Experience with electrical design tools and software (such as CAD packages for schematic design)
  • Working knowledge of relevant electrical standards and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively within engineering teams
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn from more experienced colleagues

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with microcontroller or PLC design
  • Familiarity with power distribution, control systems or signal processing
  • Knowledge of HV (High Voltage) safety principles or relevant certifications
  • Experience working within ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
