My Lighthouse is a new way for experienced carers to find work directly with families, no agency taking a cut of your pay. We are recruiting carers onto our platform for live-in and hourly roles across the UK.

We connect you directly with families who need care, you keep what you earn, and you choose the work that suits you.

We are currently seeking a visiting carer for a role in NW10, London:

• Pay: £15 - £20 per hour
• Start: In the next month
• Working pattern: 4-6 hours per week, flexible, daytime hours around lunchtime

Key responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with household tasks
• Drive to appointments and outings
• Light houseworkRequirements
• Must be a female carer
• Driver with own car preferred
• Very high proficiency in spoken English
• Comfortable with dogs
• Experienced, reliable & patient
• Enhanced DBS and references required which will all be checkedAbout the client
• Female client with lung conditions requiring 24hr oxygen
• Has COPD and raised diaphragm affecting independence
• Osteoporosis and kyphosis of the spine causing back weakness
• Walks unaided around the house but uses a trolley to walk outside
• Irish, chatty with good sense of humour
• Enjoys companionship and needs encouragement to build confidenceThis role will suit someone who is friendly, chatty, positive and a good listener.

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
